Weekly Homework Schedule
Monday: Write one sentence with one of your spelling words and illustrate it.*
Tuesday: Read for 15 minutes.
Wednesday: Study your math facts.
Thursday: Write your spelling words two times each and have someone at home quiz you.
Friday: Enjoy the night off! Don't forget to read over the weekend!
* As the school year progresses, the number of sentences will increase and the illustrations will become optional.
Homework should take no longer than 15 minutes per night.
Homework Suggestions: Set up a homework routine. Make a set place and time for homework each night. Use a timer! Set it for 15 minutes and when the timer goes off - you're done! If you'd like to keep working - that's FABULOUS. If not, that's okay. As long as you've REALLY tried your hardest for those 15 minutes. Parents, if homework ever becomes a concern, be it too much, or too little, don't ever hesitate to contact me.
